Refund Policy

Effective for all FivShop platform transactions as of April 2026

1. Overview

FivShop provides a robust management platform for businesses and customers. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are processed for shop-related transactions and platform services.

2. Product Refunds (Business to Customer)

When a customer purchases a product through a FivShop-powered business account:

  • Eligibility: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of delivery unless otherwise specified by the individual shop owner.
  • Condition: Products must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and with all tags intact.
  • Process: The customer initiates the request through the FivShop order tracking portal. The shop owner reviews and approves the refund based on their specific shop terms.

3. Non-Refundable Items & Services

Certain situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • Digital services or software features activated upon purchase.
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers) once delivered and accepted.
  • Items damaged due to customer misuse or improper handling.
  • Platform subscription fees for business accounts after a 3-day trial period.

4. Creditor & Financial Adjustments

FivShop accounts for creditor relationships (paoonadar). If a transaction involving credit is reversed:

  • The system automatically recalculates the outstanding balances for both the business and the creditor.
  • Notifications are sent via Push, SMS, and In-app to all involved parties to confirm the adjustment.

5. Processing Timelines

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. For cash-on-delivery transactions, the refund may be processed via mobile banking (e.g., bKash, Nagad) or shop credit.

6. Platform Fee Refunds

FivShop platform fees are generally non-refundable. However, if a service interruption occurs that lasts more than 48 hours, affected business accounts may request a pro-rated credit for their next billing cycle.
